Happy Monday, Cougar Valley Cats and Families! 🐾🍂

Here’s what’s in store for our three-day week! We are especially excited to connect with our families on Thursday and Friday to discuss student progress, celebrate growth, and establish shared goals for our Cats. Several staff members have already begun meeting with families, and we are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen these important partnerships.

These Family Connection Meetings are such a special time to celebrate our students, share insights, and work together to support each child’s success. It truly takes a collective effort to educate, encourage, and support our Cats, and we are thrilled to be doing this important work alongside all of you!

Cougar Valley Pumpkin Run

Friday, October 30th will be a fun filled fabulous day. We are planning our Annual Pumpkin Run and Fall Harvest/Halloween Celebration. Students may choose to wear costumes on this day. Refer to your child’s classroom teacher for specific plans for the day and make sure your child’s costume is…..

One they can get in and out of on their own
No Inflatables
School appropriate
No Masks
No Face Paint
No Weapons of any kind
No Blood or Gore

‘My Culture Is not A Costume’. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

Please note, the Pumpkin Run will be taking place rain or shine. Have your child bring appropriate shoes and/or extra clothing to participate.

Please sign up if you wish to volunteer for the Pumpkin Run. Be sure your volunteer application is complete.

Impact Aid Forms

ALL FAMILIES, regardless of civilian or military affiliation, must complete an Impact Aid Survey.

If this form is not completed online, the office will be required to send home a paper form of the same survey. Ideally, families will complete online.

Impact Aid is federal funding that the Central Kitsap School District applies for every year. These funds make up for the local tax dollars we lose because of tax-exempt federal property. The results of our Impact Aid survey support this request and are critical to our district's resources for students.

Pink Impact Aid forms went home on Friday for families that did not complete online. Please fill out and return as soon as possible. Thank you for your Support!
