We are just two weeks away from our Family-Teacher Conferences, and we are well into establishing our routines and expectations!
We also had the opportunity to come together for our ASB Elections Assembly, and I could not be more proud of all of our student candidates! The speeches were some of the best I have heard, and each student did an incredible job sharing their ideas, their voices, and their desire to make a difference in our school community. It takes courage to put yourself out there, run for office, and speak in front of your peers, and I am so proud of every student who took that leap. What wonderful leadership we are seeing in our Cats!
Regardless of the outcome, each candidate demonstrated confidence, commitment, and a willingness to step up and lead. We are excited to see these young leaders continue to grow and make a positive impact at Cougar Valley!
Over the past several weeks, I have shared a couple of surveys to help us get to know your families better and gather your feedback. Based on what you shared with us, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with our Annual Pumpkin Run! 🎃
This is a Cougar Valley Cat favorite, and it will take place rain or shine!
Cats are also welcome to wear a costume that day if they choose. Many of us will be celebrating the season by wearing fall colors and dressing comfortably for an outdoor run.
Please see below for additional details.
Your child’s teacher should have sent home a sign-up for Family-Teacher Conferences. If you have not yet received information about scheduling your conference, please reach out to us so we can help!
We look forward to connecting with you, discussing how things are going so far this school year, and hearing about your hopes, goals, and aspirations for your Cat.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Enjoy your day off from school as we honor and recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day!
Have a fantastic week, Cougar Valley!
Go Cats! 🐾
