Dear 3rd–5th Grade Families,
Our Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) will begin in May for students in grades 3–5. These assessments are an opportunity for students to show what they have learned this year and demonstrate their growth.
To help your Cat feel confident and ready to do their best, please remember to:
- Ensure they get plenty of rest the night before testing
- Provide a healthy breakfast each morning
- Encourage them to come to school ready to try their best
We also ask that families try to avoid scheduling appointments & vacations during testing days whenever possible so students can complete their assessments with their class.
Testing Schedule
5th Grade
- Math: May 4–5
- Science: May 6
- ELA: May 11–13
4th Grade
- Math: May 13–14
- ELA: May 18–20
3rd Grade
- Math: May 13–14
- ELA: May 18–20
