Dear Families,

It was truly a magnificent weekend filled with celebration, community, and inspiration.

On Saturday, I was fortunate enough to attend the Seahawks game—what an incredible win! The atmosphere was electric, and it was a great reminder of how powerful shared experiences can be.

More importantly, I had the honor of attending the 32nd Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. This event was deeply inspiring and a powerful reflection of Dr. King’s legacy of service, unity, and justice.

I would like to give a special shout-out to our very own Mrs. Harris for supporting our CV Cats and showcasing their outstanding work at the event. Her years of service to our community are greatly appreciated. Thank you as well to the staff and students who attended to show their support—it meant so much and truly represented the spirit of our school.

Events like these remind us that we all have a role to play in creating the kind of community we wish to belong to. Thank you for being such an important part of that effort.

Thank you to the Bremerton Sockeyes for welcoming us back and hosting our school community at your game on January 10th.

It was truly an honor to drop the puck and come together as a school community to cheer on such outstanding local talent. The energy in the arena was incredible, and it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together outside of the school day.

What a dominant win—and an experience that has quickly become a tradition we hope to continue for years to come. Thank you for making our students, staff, and families feel so welcome.
